Is the promise of Trevor Lawrence enough to convince Urban Meyer to take the Jags job?

among all the job openings, that's definitely the most appealing in terms of picks.rick malone wrote:Is the promise of Trevor Lawrence enough to convince Urban Meyer to take the Jags job?

They also have 80 million or so in cap room and a lot of other picks.rick malone wrote:Is the promise of Trevor Lawrence enough to convince Urban Meyer to take the Jags job?

Supposedly Meyer is asking for 12 mil/year. Not sure if he can deal with NFL attitudes and he's a good bet to resign if the team under performs. Only Belichick currently makes that much.

the fact it was on national tv is the league's fault. why the hell would you put two teams from the worst division on prime time? i actually turned the game off when sudfeld came in, but people like palantonio calling for an investigation can eat a dick. integrity of the league? shut the fuck up with that nonsense.96583UP wrote:yep

i love doug peterson. i like going for 4th and short all the time. i think he goes for 2 points too often, but i still like the idea behind it. i dont know why he couldn't call the same game plan for wentz he did for hurts, but i think he's good enough to give him another year. the offense wasn't all on him. wentz sucked too, he missed open receivers all the time, was not nearly as accurate as he's been, and ran around aimlessly half the time. i think pederson is a hell of a coach and he will succeed again somewhere else. the truth is the front office wanted to hire different assistant coaches than him, that's why he was fired. it's bullshit.
none of this really matters, b/c he still won us the super bowl

I'm guessing he'll get another shot in a couple years if he wants it.

funny bc when Chip Kelly got the boot Lurie basically introduced Pederson like ‘yeah we made a mistake letting him go and now we’re back’

i want duce staley, mike kafka or eric bieniemy. i'm 100% for picking off andy reid's coaching tree again, it worked last time.

Denver axed Fangio, NFL chopping block season has begun.
Denver would probably be pretty good if they had a QB.
