Baaaad. I don't like these kinds of movies generally, and this one didn't change my mind.

Sleazy, vaguely Tarantino-inspired, everyone-is-a-villain movies. Shit like Smokin' Aces or Bad Times at the El Royale. I hate how smug and perfect everyone is. I hate the nineties look. I hate how they try to be cool but just come off as desperate.

But this one is bad for a lot more reasons than that.

Do it.

I need to check out more Cartoon Saloon movies. I wanted to pause every scene and make it my desktop wallpaper.

The Mortuary Collection.

It was fine. I loved the production design but the stories were kinda boring. Loved the practical effects but some makeup was distracting. It was an alright horror anthology film, maybe for kids.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Saw Judy last night. Was overall very impressed and I typically do not care for bio-pics. Don't know how factual it is. Doesn't matter to me. Very good movie. Singing was done very well. If there was lip syncing, I didn't notice. Might have actually been inspired to look up Judy Garland music on the old Spotify app soon.
