I'm not sure which afflicted they are comforting, but they sure are afflicting the comfortable. I thought this was what protest is all about?

Usually the protest is based in some reality toward an actual outcome that can be realized. Say not killing black people for routine traffic stops or changing the way we regulate guns so kids in schools don't get shot. Today was about being sore losers.

I give BLM and MAGA about equal odds in actually accomplishing their stated goals in a sustained manner.

BLM also afflicted a lot of the less than comfortable. Today, cops (who I hear are bastards) and congresscritters were afflicted. Much better target selection.

today’s sought after outcome was overturning an election result

which sadly is more likely to be actualized than the things you mentioned

At least one Republican Congresswoman has backed off, so it may have the opposite result, sort of like when Trump suppressed his own vote.

I haven’t seen any. As far as I know that could be facilitating exits at the end of the rally.

Only 13 arrests made between noon and 6:00. There were hundreds of people inside the capital. They just shoe’d them away? WTF?

I thought the giletes jaunes put American anti-government protesters to shame, but today restored at least some semblance of honor to the US.

Still astounded that the second great American rebellion was unleashed after a quick dance to Macho Man.

I enjoy the kvetching about IT security concerns. Pretty sure the horse left the barn when Imran Awan worked there...
