As counterpoint to B's nonsense about them being treated too nicely because they were white, I heard a lot of equal nonsense about the police being too violent towards them.

I'm like, if you really think that things are so dire that you have to go to war with the government, then do what you gotta do, but don't cry when they shoot you for storming Congress. You have to expect that. You don't get to play victim. People are gonna defend themselves against your dumbass.

Its rather chaotic, but I didn't hear any commands/ warnings and she might not have seen the officer.

Its curious the level of agency attributed to her compared to certain other police shooting victims.

Here's a play-by-play breakdown of the Ashli Babbitt shooting with several videos and angles from Bellingcat(which I'm not familiar with. these aren't the pockets of the internet I seek out)
It's a bit more indepth than what I've seen Burt post.

The Infowars video(unfortunately, sorry) footage referenced and provided on the site actually clearly shows the police officers in tactical gear coming up the stairs and getting into position right as Babbitt climbs through the window and gets shot.

Yeah a bunch of old dudes sitting around talking about grilling is unlikely to require a lot of breaking up. They go to bed a sundown.

My favourite meme so far;

"Can't tonight. Watching the season finale of the United States."

My girl is a champ. She appreciated the dilemma she created for me and did her level best to resolve it when we got home.

WTF. I thought you Feneians didn't snitch.

There have been dates tossed around like the 19th and the 20th. Bizzare to think it'd happen now.

I think a lot of peeps will be put off by the likelihood of a far firmer (read: armed) response if they try this shit again.
