i just read now the Dems are thinking to impeach in the House this week

but then wait to send to the Senate for a few months into Biden’s term so as to focus on the other legislation first

I kind of like that idea

just continuing to hold the impeachment trial as leverage over Trump

if he tries to start shit then the Dems just bring it to the Senate and block his ability to ever run again

He might fall for it, though I'm not sure he's even capable of shutting up even if he wanted to.

I have full faith that Republican voters could forget impeachment after two years of a Biden/Harris administration, a Pelosi house, and a dem controlled senate. They'll be fine in 2022. With impeachment, they might even pick up a voter or two (like me.)
