Not saying he sounds bad, but :shake:
From a singing standpoint I'm not backing down.
IDK, I think Nothingman and a couple others might trump from a vocal standpoint, but agree this is up there.
yeah, it's Nothingman for me
Not for me. A lot of yelling mixed with monotony. I hate little "scoops" at the end of the verse lines.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

There's not a single studio track we've gotten so far that I'm afraid to be subjected to live. For me, that hasn't been true of new albums for quite some time. That can still change, and Future Days is likely to be the one to spoil it, but still. This is good stuff.

I dunno. I would probably enjoy Lightning Bolt live, but I'm going to avoid the videos. The Wrigley performance was... yeah.

Also, this was kind of discussed earlier, but I'm now really hoping that whatever song is in that Vine clip shows up on this album. I think it would fit with and enhance the all-over-the-map, WTF feeling we've had so far.

I didn't like the Wrigley performance either, and thus I was surprised by how good the studio take is. Of course it might always be lacking when performed live, but at least now I like the song, whereas after the Wrigley video I wasn't sure I ever would.

There's probably people on the Sigur Rios boards saying, "I'm seeing Sigur Rios on Monday but I just don't care after listening to Sirens!"

Yeah. I think that people fill the gaps with the studio version in their heads anyway, when they see stuff live.
