Best Kitchen Smells

Post by Chris_H_2 »

For me, it’s a tie.

- sautéing garlic in olive oil
- baking bread, usually around the 25-minute mark (Reid would appreciate that)

What you got?

That bread smell is second only to the popping sound the crust makes for the first half hour it's out of the oven.

-chili that's been simmering while you've been outside doing chores on a cold day
-pan fried lumpia
-citrus peeled with a channel knife for cocktails while cooking

Ruddo and Chris both nailed it.

Although, I do enjoy the smell of coffee brewing.

Movie theater butter's probably better, but my wife made popcorn the other day with real butter and it smelled awesome.
