Game on. I think she’s going too early. They should really lets the harsh realities of Brexit hit people first. And it will be hits on a societal and personal level for everyone. But least it’s official now.

We’re gonna need a new one. The perpetually aggrieved unionists won’t accept anything.

It's funny because a third of the tricolor is already for them.

Re: Ireland Reunification & Scottish independence referenda
I think they went too early last time. They made it before the General Election where the Tories got their 1st overall majority since 92. Maybe if it had to be that term, the Tories got to decide that. But if they got in, then introduced a bill the next term the Tories would have won their majority first. Get in, get most seats in Westminster, win the Scottish election with most Scottish seats in Westminster, and by the time of the Scottish term after that the Brexit referendum would probably already have happened.dimejinky99 wrote:Game on. So basically, Johnson and May spent Trump's presidency fighting each other over how best to sell the NHS to Trump.

A unilateral Declaration of Independence is what they should do.
What the fuck are the brits gonna do? Roll tanks out in the streets of Edinburgh and Glasgow?
Cos that’s worked out so well before.

“While a majority in the Republic have always been in favour of unification it has never featured in the top 10 most important issues until now..polling carried out by Fine Gael & Sinn Fein, before Christmas show it ranking now as the second or third most important issue”

North ‘slowly becoming part of united Ireland’, says former British chancellor
George Osborne says Northern Ireland is ‘heading for the exit door’ from the United Kingdom
“Now [the DUP's] short-sighted support for Brexit (and unbelievably stupid decision to torpedo Theresa May’s deal that avoided separate Irish arrangements) has made those fears a reality. It pains me to report that most here and abroad will not care.”

Not a man known for making the right decisions in the moment, Boris Johnson is today going to Scotland in an attempt to convince them of the benefits of remaining in the United Kingdom

Brilliant, and could just as easily be dedicated to the unelectable version of Blair.
