You know I was kidding, right? I wouldn’t want you to think I would ever put alcohol on any wood finish.

I respect wood. I just hate strat.
Too late. RIP tele.

In the heat of the moment, I was just worried for Strat's guitar.

Depending on how bad, use a wooden matchstick or toothpick in the hole. Less mess; works good.

I am redoing the electronics on my guitar from high school. It’s a Washburn Mercury.

I can’t confirm online if this guitar would use long pots or short pots. Anyone?

It occurred to me some time ago that my taste in guitars always skews towards the same types of things and I ended up having a room full of black Gibson-style guitars (24.75" scale, tune-o-matic bridge, set neck, 3x3 headstock, etc). So I sold a Les Paul Studio that wasn't getting much use and put the money towards this colourful modern spec thing. Should arrive later this week, hopefully.

Beautiful guitar. All I know about Schecter is that their basses are often praised for their great necks and bang for buck.

I don't have a lot of direct experience with them either except for a few buddies that have their basses, but everybody always speaks highly of them and this one fit my needs and budget.

Okay, going to attempt my first truss rod adjustment in the 27 years ive been playing guitar!

Major fret buzz, appears as though i have a "back bow". I can kind of see it when looking down the neck of the guitar, though perhaps tricking myself. Regardless, sounds like fret buzz would indicate a back bow. Thus, lefty loosey on the truss rod adjustment.

Yeah, small steps and don't force it if it's stuck.
