In fairness, US politics has been by far the most interesting thing going on lately. So much canon. Trump was an absolute goldmine for news.

Having said that, very much looking forward to a bit of boring coming back. How nice was it to hear a vaguely presidential presidential speech?
Why listen to a speech when it can be absorbed through osmosis on the interwebs?

I hope Jen Psaki demanded a brand new lectern (podium?) in the Press Room.

yes the previous lectern absorbed a substantial quantity of stripper perfume, which we know from experience does not wash off easily

The more I think about it all 3 aspects of that annoy me. The reaction of those Kiwis, her need to broadcast it to the world and then just her.

I think you can let the Kiwis off the hook, since it almost certainly didn't happen (outside of Amanda Palmer's imagination, anyway).

As a whole...sure. But if I ever come across one of those cafe workers I'll probably tut audibly while shaking my head.

Guys, that inauguration concert was really well put together. I can't believe how much I enjoyed seeing Bon Jovi, on a pier, singing Here Comes the Sun. That "Seasons of Love/Let the Sunshine In" could have been an SNL spoof, it was so over the top joyous, but damn't it's how yesterday felt!
