Barr Brothers

Saw this band at the 6th & I in dc last night. Very small venue (200 people?) and I was blown away. Excellent harmonies between the brothers and the harp player (yes they lug around a harp). Nice bluesy, folky sound, but with tape loop drone / feedback / sound effects. I think they're playing Letterman tonight.

I've just discovered their album (Sleeping Operator) and have been really digging on it. The 1-2 punch to start the album in particular grabbed my attention:
