Im guessing you're talking about the dude's exaggerated head jerks. Sure they seem over the top and forced, but I'd feel pretty bad to find out he has a condition or tick of some sort, so I'm staying out of this one!

I believe it's 100% affectation. I've watched his solo videos where he stands still like a normal person.

I'm more annoyed by the bassist playing barefoot.

I think the drummer's "guy who is picking up trash by the side of the highway right after this" aesthetic offends me more than anything else in the video.

Second place goes to the singer's Collings guitar, which is visually unattractive yet would have cost many, many thousands of dollars.

I hated the music too, of course, but that's more or less a given.

I listened to one of their albums last year and I liked it well enough. A couple of really strong songs. But I listened to a ton of music and I can't recall anything super specific about Big Thief.
