Wow, that 2-parter to end Season 2 was SOMETHING.

This guy works at Lucasfilm. He was on set for rogue one. He’s been posting pics.

First close up of chopper I’ve seen. Forgot the little bugger was in it.

Ive just finished rebels and it was OK.

Space Whales ?? loath Cats ??

I’m not a great artist but I think I could of drawn a better owl.

Thrawn was intriguing but not my fav Star Wars villain.

I enjoyed Clone Wars more

The space whales, and how they tie into Ezra and thrawn, are going to be the thing in the Ahsoka series. We all rolled our eyes at them at the time too. But they’re important now I would argue.

Lukes diaries also had studies of how the ancient Jedi studied them to figure out their hyperspace abilities and lanes. Apparently it’s come up in high republic too.

Im now less excited for the Ashoka series.

A real life chopper would be good though.

How do we even know what will happen in the Ahsoka series? Space whales doesn't sound very interesting.

Because she asked where Thrawn is in mando.

Which links the ending of rebels.

Live action space whale I guess would be cool.

I just only got here. I already knew this was coming, and they really telegraphed it within the show (as Star Wars always does), but it was still very impactful.

I really burned through the first 2 seasons of this show, but honestly Season 3 really dragged for me; it was hard to stay interested in any episodes that weren't tied directly to the central story. I wasn't into the Mandalorian stuff. But Season 4 has really picked up again considering that basically everything is "main story," which is nice.

I'm still about halfway through season 3 of this but I think I might like it better than the Clone Wars overall. I find it more consistently enjoyable. While Clone Wars had higher highs, it was pretty hit or miss all the way to the end. The best episodes were incredible though.

Also, random Star Wars question:
Is "Clankers" like the N-word for droids? If so, that may change how I feel about Rex.

It’s a derogatory name for separatist droids (b1’s and b2’s), because of the clanking sound they make. Similar to how the GI’s in WW2 called the Germans Jerry’s.

That may be the origin of the word, but Rex has used it while referring to other droids as well. And he seems to really lean into the word with a hard R.

(I'm kidding of course. He says it in a delightful kiwi accent)

With the announcement of the Ahsoka show bneing a rebels season 5.

Is anyone interested in a re-watch rebels ???

Ive just finished season 1 (which was tougher than i thought). It starts and ends well.

Kanan is my MVP in this. I found a youtube channel that did all the translations for chopper and it has certainly helped me love the character more.
