It's not complete without a re-tracking included.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

I remember getting the tape of the Coming Out of Our Shells stage show and how much it sucked. I think maybe I thought it was supposed to be the movie soundtrack?

Great idea for a thread. Nothing is coming to mind at the moment, but the OP has now put The Sound of Settling in my head even though it’s on a different album.

Thanks.

He's an ultra runner now. He did a really cool instagram story a few months ago running a marathon route around Seattle and showing everyone music landmark photos on every mile.

As a result of this thread I went back to when I first got back into rock music as a 15 year old (I had rock fan older brothers that introduced me to Metallica, Van Halen, Motley Crue, KISS, and some others in the 80s - once it started getting to Poison and Bon Jovi I just lost touch with it).

So in late 1993, I discovered Pearl Jam and Nirvana (in earnest, I knew who they were more generally before), and started getting into Led Zeppelin. This swung into the Spring of 1994, where those albums and the self-titled Metallica album dominated my stereo. Years of poorly received (personally) albums from Metallica and it also lost touch, even negatively affecting my taste for their older material. So back I go and really it seems relative ridiculous- heavy, over dramatic and exactly what 15 year old me loved about rock music that I just don’t need anymore. But hey, I am giving it a listen and remembering head banging back then.

I was always mad at the screw up in the Turtle Power lyrics by Partners in Kryme. How could they do that on the official soundtrack?!?
