I was always mad at the screw up in the Turtle Power lyrics by Partners in Kryme. How could they do that on the official soundtrack?!?
I don’t remember this?
Splinter's the teacher so they are the students.
Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello make up the team
with one other fellow, Raphael.
He's the leader of the group, transformed from the norm by the nuclear goop.
Ah. I guess my feeling has always been that while tv show made Leonardo the leader, the film shifted the focus to Raphael. Though he was more of a leader by sulking and emotional manipulation.
Comic books as far back as 1984 made him the leader. They reference him to be the leader in the movie itself. Leo calls all the shots throughout the movie. He's clearly the leader of the group. May I refer you to some reading material?

It’s hilarious that anyone ever grew into Limp Bizkit.

Yes, I'm sure there are a few. Bright Eyes was one of those groups who always seemed to be on the same trip I was on at the same time. Very hard to recreate those moments of epiphany, years later.
Very much agreed. I listened to Fevers and Mirrors maybe about 6 months ago, and it was less reconnecting with the music or lyrics, and more remembering how I felt when I was 20

Weird that you didn't share this with our group text. Almost like you know you'd receive a bombardment of shaming.

That sounded like a Bright Eyes lyric.

I've been listening to a bit of Sixpence None the Richer again recently since I saw them mentioned in here

I would like to revisted the music of Ben Harper. Haven't listened to him in what..10 or 12 years? Before I thought he was great, I still think he is. Just never listened to him again.... What should I play first? Kinda feel like 'diamonds...'

The first three Ben Harper albums are really great. Everything after that is a shade of good.

I will note I liked his recent albums with Charlie Musselwhite. He always seemed most comfortable playing off the blues but seemed to always get in his own head that he needed to try to play everything.

Everything up to and including the s/t album is great. They deserved all the success they had after that, but it kinda ruined them.

Nu Metal.

Namely Korn.

I'm embarrassed that I was ever into it, and also, can't really understand WHY I was into it.

I've tried to go back and listen to it, and I just...don't get it. ha ha

Definitely some nu metal and other 2000's metal, like Children of Bodom, Chimaira, Killswitch Engaged and Hatebreed.

I still really love Mastodon and Converge though. That stuff never gets old.

I remember hearing that stupid Trapt song for the first time. I immediately swore off practically all popular rock music made between 1996-2002 forever. I was fucking done.
