I recorded a bodhrán cover

Post by Ms Harmless »

...or rather, my partner recorded it for me

this was the first song I learned to get through with minimal mistakes: "Before You Go" by Lewis Capaldi

(with help from Pippin my cockatiel)

I'm also learning some trad. Irish tunes but I've not quite nailed those yet

That was cool. That takes alot of coordination /concentration

The bird did good too. he was more times than not on beat, which isn't bad for a bird!

Also, you look nice, I like your hair :luv:

Lol I was about to ask if the chirping noise was produced by the instrument

Nice job, would you be upset at me if I requested a bodhrán cover of "Two Princes"

Theoretically you can teach a cockatiel to speak. My parents have had several, and no dice. Their Amazon only can say 'hello'. Have you had any luck?

mine says a few phrases, yeah:

"I love you"

"who's a pretty bird?"

"what're you doin'?"

"gimme a kiss" *kiss* *kiss*

Far more impressive than the Amazon. I suppose my people are not great at training pets in general.

Thanks for sharing.

Sounds great, especially those triplets.

There's another drum I never knew I needed...

thank you :) the bodhrán is a heck of a lot of fun, and more versatile than people give it credit for
