Laying off buying new LPs for a little bit, probably until next month. I got some good deals the last time I went to an actual record store, but I feel like the price of everything online has ballooned a bit in the oast few months; even scouring Discogs used, I feel like there aren't many deals to be found.

I haven't purchased a new LP since spring of 2020. Don't think I'll do so until I have a steady job again. But I miss it. I want to buy so many records!

Same. I had a few pre orders from early in 2020 float in but otherwise saw my vinyl habit as a valve that I could shut off in case I ended up in a bad spot with my job.

I was stopping for gas and lunch in Beckley, West Virginia, but I turned the wrong way. Found Cheap Thrills Records and CBD. I bought the reissued Exile on Main Street, Alice in Chains Unplugged, the Blues Brothers Soundtrack, and a Pearl Jam CD bootleg from Philadelphia 2000. I also put down Metallica's Kill 'Em All and noticed that they had a Metallica live in Borgata, which is apparently rare.

They had at least 5 other CD bootlegs that I already had.

I was in there 10 minutes max. I had to leave before I picked up more stuff.

Good store. Sadly, they have NO on-line store.

The last vault vinyl and the Eddie Vedder single. No updates on those recently.

Still ... I loved the store. Much to the chagrin of my family, we'll have an extended stop in Princeton or Beckley every time we drive between Akron, Ohio and Chapel Hill, NC.

Amazon is doing a buy-2-get-1 sale on lots of items, and there are a good amount of LPs included. I got 3 albums (2 of them double albums) for $48 bucks.
