I think the whole point is for each character to do a 180 on life.
am i way off on this?
I'm going to say that the ending is super weird and grim.
but I’m off on my theory...?
I'm on S3E3 so I have no idea where this thing is ultimately going. But based on what I have seen, I think your theory is way off.
okay, we're on S3E2, and I've also no idea where it's going, but I do think understand the overall theme now, aside from it being a noir sitcom. Based on something VG said about S1E1, and going back to re-read that new yorker article, a light bulb went off.
Spoiler: show
seems like the show is making fun of privilege, our inept justice system, and to quote the new yorker article, "the danger of thinking too big when your own life feels small."
tbh, even if i'm still way off about the show it's very enjoyable, and i can definitely see myself rewatching.

Sitting here waiting for them to finish my oil change and Regis and Kathie Lee is on but Ryan Seacrest and some ditzy, blonde waif is on here instead. This is terrible.

Episode 1 of “30 Coins”

Kinda spastic but Megan Montaner might be the best looking woman on television

Framing Britney Spears (Hulu)
I feel awful for her. She has had no kind of life, and conservatorships should be illegal. Yikes!

I know! We’re about halfway through season 4 so this is good news.

It has gotten pretty weird and dark, but I’m interested in seeing where this all goes.

Painting with John on HBO (starring the great John Lurie) is the best thing on TV today. Go look at it

Lots of good moments, but this show struggles with two-dimensional characters that distract from the religious conspiracy stuff that is actually interesting, far more so than DaVinci Code type silliness.

With all the frigid temps we’ve watched so much the last few days.

Finished up Season 4 of Search Party. Watched Framing Britney Spears, The Vanishing at Cecil Hotel, two seasons of Miracle Workers, started on Waco today. Almost done.

Really liked Miracle Workers. Very clever.

I really enjoyed season one and was disappointed when season two moved into a totally different world. It ended up OK, but I still feel like staying in the Heaven TV show would have been better

I kinda liked the medieval take, but yeah the first season was a lot more relatable.

I do wonder if the four characters/angels in season 1 were supposed to represent a sort of reverse/anti-four horsemen.
