Tucker sees the piece about Joe Biden loving his wife and decides to just make up a lie that Joe Biden does not love his wife. He's demented
Obviously they are different. But pandering schlock is only marginally better for our democracy than pandering lies.
Oh, neither is good. Both are insidious and massive wastes of time. One of them is just also evil

It's hard to imagine that anyone who seeks out the office of president isn't a narcissist.

If the Clintons taught us anything, is that decades-long sham marriages are certainly possible, so naturally he'd take that story and transfer it to Biden. I don't think it works though. Biden is too likeable.

What I don't get about the Democrats to start Biden's presidency is this push to forgive $50lk of student loans. No one ran on this that I am aware of. It just makes the D's look like they are their own worst enemy. They can talk all they want about R's be obstructionists (and they are correct) but really, they do it to themselves over and over again.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

BurtReynolds wrote:They are both lies. I definitely don't think this guy just out of the blue decided to write an article about the deep love the Bidens feel for each other after seeing them kiss. This is just an ad that he was paid to write, and we're supposed to pretend it reflects reality.
I think this is still a bit too cynical for my tastes. Yeah, it's pandering. But there's also some merit to the idea that our elected leaders can serve as positive behavioral models, especially after four years of President Narcissist.
There is little to no merit in that at all, especially from the president.

If you think these paid puff pieces for politicians aren't evil, I don't know what to tell you.

"But Joe Biden's deep love for his wife is a sign of his deep love of all of us!"

You just watched panderers to Trumptards say shit like this for four years, now it's just the harmless, spontaneous writing of a totally real person just writing what he sees? Come on man!

What's to get? There's a far-left arm of the party that wants to see radical economic change, and they're trying to flex their status and Congressional voting records to get the moderate wing of the party to bend to their desires. It's been happening with both parties since the Sunshine Reforms of the 70s.
Leftists trying to get people to bend the knee to them? Huh-what-who-know?

Biden is completely correct here. You took out a $50k loan for college, you pay it back. It's the most fundamental element of contract law. If you were too stupid to understand what a loan is then sue the college that admitted your dumb ass.
