Re: Breakfast (and strat's talk about Puffins)
if i have a potato, i want savory. i don't particularly like mixing sweet and savory either.
nothing disappointments me more food wise than going to a restaurant to order a burger and finding out that they only have bread & butter pickles. it's worse than seeing mayo as a standard condiment that you have to ask them to leave off.

Chris, maybe you'd prefer that oatmeal recipe in its original form. Pumpkin puree (that we didn't have) instead of sweet potatoes.

mashed sweet taters are good, if seasoned correctly.
fuck sweet potato fries though, hugely overrated. though i did recently have some made using satsumaimo (japanese sweet potato) that were great.

so a grilled egg, ham, and cheese. that sounds so good. but you can do better than kraft singles. i thought we've covered this before. it's not real cheese.doug rr wrote:i used a kraft single and black forest hamChris_H_2 wrote:rather dubious claimdoug rr wrote:master classChris_H_2 wrote:what's the "mc" short for?doug rr wrote:homemade egg mcmuffins
