I also loved it but why wouldn't I? It's a compelling true crime story set within a frame narrative about the difficulty of being a writer, intertwining the two stories such that they create a kind of third rail detective plot, all of which extensively feature Patton Oswalt!epilogue wrote:I really loved it.Mickey wrote:Really? In that case, you can think of it as a show that extensively features a guy pretty openly and honestly dealing with his wife's overdose, and he also happened to have a guest spot of the later seasons of VEEP.Jorge wrote:You were so close to selling me right up to the very last part I can't fucking stand Patton OswaltMickey wrote:I also loved it but why wouldn't I? We just finished ep. 1, and I already dislike Matthew fox’s acting.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

this may be a dumb question, but did any shows before Lost do flashback scenes in a similar fashion?
