Every time you die, you have the chance to pull off a Batman/Bond conveyor belt saw escape, but the game does you zero fucking favors in figuring out how. It’s perfect 1980’s Nintendo.

I would kill for Final Fantasy Tactics on the Switch.
Are there any similar RPGs with an FF style "job" system and turn based battles?

Is there anything like age of empires on switch?
Is the old sim city on there in the SNES pack? I’d love to play even that again

I think Northgard comes closest. The RTS genre has never really thrived on consoles.dimejinky99 wrote:Is there anything like age of empires on switch?

Worth noting is that Civ. is a grand strategy/4x game, while Age of Empires and Northgard are real time strategy games.

Re: Nintendo Switch
I just want some light classic or JRPGs that aren't too weebish. Is that too much to ask?

Re: Nintendo Switch
Valkyria Chronicles 4 is excellent - jobs, turn based but action during turns.. Fire Emblem games are always great. I haven't played that one yet though.Ello Sailor wrote:I would kill for Final Fantasy Tactics on the Switch.

Project Triangle will be the closest to FFT when that comes out next year.

Do you like low budget RPG Maker games full of dad jokes and Christmas? Do you want to make Cthulhu work at a soup kitchen and create promotional mall displays? This is for you.McParadigm wrote:I’m about to try Cthulhu Saves Christmas.
I like the battle mechanics, and it does a few clever things. It’s also painful dorky and light on interesting environments and challenge. I played this with a 9 year old and we had fun. Falls under: games I bought for $2 on sale that I don’t regret.
Tomorrow we’re playing Cattails.

I've been considering getting another Switch cause there are too many people in my house but I'm afraid to get one if they are gonna release a Switch Pro or whatever along side BOTW2.

I would wait. Not sure of the timing of an announcement, but I think the Switch "Pro" will just replace the traditional Switch later this year.bada wrote:I've been considering getting another Switch cause there are too many people in my house but I'm afraid to get one if they are gonna release a Switch Pro or whatever along side BOTW2.
