It’s been many years for me. I tried to listen but I always felt like the National songs were kind of all build up and no pay off. You’d wait for four minutes for the song to take off in a direction and then the song inexplicably ends, and a new one starts the same cycle. It’s also been a long while so my description by this point could be way off.
