Should have traded Gordon for Turner and McDermott in the off-season.

Yeah the refusal to do that remains confounding.Monkey_Driven wrote:Should have traded Gordon for Turner and McDermott in the off-season.

Agreed. The two reasons I heard was one....that trade wasn't real....and two....it would have put them in the tax and they don't wanna pay....but yeah I was dying for that to happen.4/5 wrote:Yeah the refusal to do that remains confounding.Monkey_Driven wrote:Should have traded Gordon for Turner and McDermott in the off-season.

I never heard that it wasn't real. I thought the Pacers and Hayward were dying to consummate things but Ainge didn't like Turner. I think that's the Zach Lowe version, anyway.bada wrote:Agreed. Subsequently the word is the Charlotte offer was so high it swept Gordo off his feet. It's hard to know the info we get is usually spin that teams leak to guys like Zach Lowe.4/5 wrote:I never heard that it wasn't real. Well to further the theory on why the Celtics didn't make the Turner trade the owner...er Governor of the Celtics Wyc has been doing the radio rounds and he mentioned the hard cap a half a dozen times....so money might have been the determining factor.

I don’t even know what Top Shot is but clearly it lets you see players’ actual personalities

Re: NBA Thread
Jaylen Brown appears to be sitting out the last few games before the break so he's healthy for the All-Star game. Millennials. Between him and Tatum he's the closer of the two to getting it. We're doomed.
