Not "cooler" per se. It all just works together better as a whole.

That smiley is so plain. The word Woo typed out like that, no punctuation, is also pretty plain. Together it's all so tongue in cheek plain and it makes me laugh. It's the "please clap" of minor league aesthetic and I'm here for it, especially leading up to the uncertain 2021 season.

That's why it's better, but not necessarily "cooler," if you catch my drift. I just love it instantly in a so bad it's good kinda way.
I spent the afternoon trying to find a site to help you follow the minors and this is the thanks I get?

Unfortunately, no real luck:

I actually kind of like the smiley man uniform scheme, I just hate the name. It’s like when Constanta wanted to be called t-bone.

The whole concept of naming sports teams the Sox, is stupid.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

It goes back to the old days when most athletes used to wear socks

This could have reverberations. If teams really want to get a look at players that would normally be in A/AA, they might be bumped to AAA so they can face higher-level competition early.

NESN goes out of their way to provide the worst coverage possible.

Someone let me borrow their cable login, so I'll at least be able to watch on Roku. Can't get it to work on any other device yet, as it ties it to my internet service or my Google account.

I could get NESN on fubo, but the base price is already steep and I'd have to pay extra for MLB Networ. And it doesn't have tbs or tnt so I'd be fucked for the playoffs.

I love going to minor league games but I honestly cannot imagine sitting down to watch one on TV. Regular season baseball with even lower stakes? No thank you

My retired dad just announced that he got hired working the home games at Constellation Field. Not sure if he's throwing popcorn or taking tickets or whatever, but I'm super proud and jealous of him. Literally living the dream.
