It's released on the 11th in Australia, not sure about anywhere else.

You need to be putting it up on the internet as soon as you get it :)

I almost always shuffle. If a song can stand the shuffle test and sound good coming after any song, its a good 'un.

I used to love making mix cds, I've probably got 50 or more that are just pearl jam mixes, and my ipod and the shuffle function has made me lazy with it, i don't even put together playlists, i need to start doing it again, finding a good flow for songs that im used to hearing with other songs around it always did give me a new appreciation for the songs

I already prefer Sirens>Swallowed Whole instead of S>LB so a playlist will be coming very soon after the album hits. I'll try to give the album it's dues but there are already too many clunkers.

It's basically on par with backspacer at the moment in last place, if the next songs are good it'll beat it, and I guess if they're amazing it could beat s/t. As an album i already don't like it, I'm just hoping for some good songs now.

The 'dark fairytale' description of yellow moon has me fairly excited/ intrigued but also fairly worried about cheeseballitis . But who knows what were gonna get.

Fiddling with the playlist made me appreciate Binaural far more, since I could add Fatal, Sad and Education and knock off a few clunkers.

Is it only a thing with Pearl Jam fans or do people generally call bands "the boys"? I just stumbled upon someone saying "the boys still got it" for what feels like the hundredth time. I don't know why but it always irritates me.

This whisky/cigarette-tainted female DJ on the old rock station in town called them Eddie and The Boys. (shudders)
