Re: 5. Rise vs. 1/2 Full
This is close. Both muscular songs in their way. 1/2 Full is a great live track, but the studio version never fully clicked for me. Rise is a song I always forget how much I like, even if there are are 3-4 songs on Into the Wild I prefer.

Half Full for me...its going to be difficult to vote for an Eddie solo song vs a band song.

Studio covers are fine, but overall i prefer Pearl Jam´s music over Ed´solo material. There are a few Into The Wild songs that can match pj songs tough

Rise is a good one. 1/2 Full takes the atmosphere of Nothing As It Seems and turns it up a notch. Rise shouldn’t stand a chance.

I don't love 1/2 Full. I've enjoyed it live the few times I've seen it, I guess. But Rise just feels bland.

I like Rise a lot. This is an easy choice though.
Half Full is an absolute beast live.

Rise is a great song. I'm still going with 1/2 Full though because that one is greater.

I went 1/2 Full, but this is the only one in the opening round that gave me any sort of pause.

Tough matchup. I'm going with Rise because it occupies that simple, quiet space that Ed occupies from time to time. That mandolin interlude is one of the best things he's done this century.

1/2 Full for me. It's not a favorite from Riot Act, but I did enjoy it a lot again this month when I threw on the record after not listening to it for a long time (that whole record's third, which was a bit of a tricky spot for me in the past, was much improved). As for Rise, barring one or two songs the ITW soundtrack really hasn't stuck with me as time has gone on.
