Help Help vs. Someday at Christmas


Help Help is okay (it tries a little too hard for me - it rings just a little false, and it is part of the run of songs where Riot Act starts to lose me, so it's positioning doesn't help). I think it plays much better live.

Someday at Christmas is one of my favorite Xmas single songs. I love everything about it. See my comments from Around and Around, but x10. Vote for Someday

I really love this Someday cover. But Help Help is my favorite song on Riot Act and so gets my enthusiastic vote.

This is tough; Help Help has vastly improved for me in the years I've continued to live with it, but Someday at Christmas is one of my favorite PJ covers; it really shouldn't work, but it does. I think the songwriting power and its status as an original PJ track push it over the top, but this may be the hardest matchup this round.
