For sure. Kids are really excited and it will allow them to uncover any issues before the fall starts.

Our school district just told the teachers to wipe everything down between classes.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

You expect the security theater to continue in the fall?

I get to visit my dad next week for the first time in two months due to the loosening of restrictions. He will likely be at this care facility far after my son is born next month though. Good with the bad, I guess.

Saw an old couple, probably 70 plus, walking down the street with masks on when I left for my run today. Not a soul around. We need to get everyone vaccinated so I don't have to feel absolute pity for how stupid everyone is.

It must have been hard for you to see people behaving in a way that had zero effect on you.

it probably makes them feel just a bit safer when a maskless jogger passes by panting all over them

I don't know how you stand being around your angry self, much less old people wearing masks.

I hope you had a great run!

It was solid. Huffed my aerosols into the great wide open sky. The only people I came within 50 feet of didn't have masks on either. Presumably because they aren't terrified morons.

WHO Backs AstraZeneca Shot After Suspensions Over Safety Fears

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/eu ... r-BB1evWql
Bloomberg) -- The World Health Organization called for immunizations with AstraZeneca Plc’s Covid-19 vaccine to continue after at least 10 countries suspended use of the shot over safety concerns.
But later:
The German institute that oversees vaccine safety said in a statement that there have been 11 reports of instances of blood clotting -- and four deaths -- from a pool of about 1.2 million who have received the shot in the country. There’s no evidence the clotting resulted from the vaccine, leading the institute to echo the European Medicines Agency’s position that the benefits of the shot outweigh the risks.

I’m sure you could find 11 common extreme reactions out of 1 million to the other vaccines as well.

The AZ shot does appear to be trash compared to the others that have been approved. Can't really blame people for not wanting to take it or being skeptical.
