I am, with perhaps 1-2 exceptions, the biggest Lightning Bolt fan on this board, but My Father's Son is probably at the bottom of the album for me. And I genuinely enjoy Sweet Lew. It's an absurd song that shouldn't exist, but the world is ever so slightly a better place because it does.

I somehow saw Sweet Lew live twice. That is not a good thing.

I'd skip My Father's Son before Sweet Lew, but they'd both get skipped.

I think I'm slightly leaning towards My Father's Son. It's a strange song, because so much of it is good. The music is great, everybody has come up with cool things to do it, with one exception. Sometimes with the band's bad songs, there's blame to go around, but not here; this is a good song that Eddie's lyrics and vocals drown in the bathtub. It seems almost unfair to hold it against a pretty cool, inventive piece of music just because Eddie struck out hard.

MFS is a top tier LB song. It's also not very good and I never listen to it. Vote for Sweet Lew, which also sucks, but in a more unique way.

MFS

I like SL and would vote for it in a lot of matches, I think. But no contest here.
