This is really close. I like both these songs a lot - each charitably in the 4 star range. I love the verses in Amongst the Waves (I think it is one of my favorite lyrical melodies Eddie has done), but the flat chorus and out of place bridge do drag the song down. Get Right is a rare example of a song with appallingly stupid lyrics where the lyrics don't get in the way of my enjoyment of the song. I think this is a dud live, but there is a weird flat headache energy to the song, a pretty catchy chorus (handclaps and all) and some great solo work by Mike (he had great moments on S/T, but Riot Act is really his last truly great album. I think he is probably the record's MVP).

I am one of the few people that has always expressed a fondness for Amongst the Waves, but I’m still going with Get Right. Get Right is badass and one of the best tracks on Riot Act, which is infinitely better than Backspacer.

Get Right

Amongst the Waves has always felt like any other generic mid-tempo rock song. I can find this song by a million other names elsewhere.

Amongst the Waves for me. It works better than GR at what its trying to do....I also love jeff´s bass there.

Get Right is ok, i dont need to listen to it tough. Mike is awesome there.

Maybe someday I won't think Get Right is terrible. I might even go listen to it after I vote against it, but I won't be changing my mind tonight.

The EV grunt in the first verse of Get Right has to be a top 5 PJ hook for me.
And stone's riff in the second verse from 48 seconds to 1:08 is a high point.

Though I really enjoy Amongst the Waves, Get Right is an easy choice.

Get Right has really grown on me over the years. Amongst the waves has not.

It's hard to believe how limp the guitar in the chorus of ATW is. I don't understand that choise at all.
