Got the vaccine (first shot) about an hour ago so that BI will let me go to the beach in peace.

I was speaking with my dad the other day - I get the feeling that mum's not going to get the vaccine when it's available, and he's somewhat on the fence about the whole thing

Is there anything to suggest that those European countries were right to suspend the vaccine? Admittedly, I haven't read much but from what I have it seems like a shockingly foolish decision. And even as they lift the suspensions it's hard to imagine that this won't have a negative effect going forward.

I havent seen anything. Perhaps it was a way to force the EU regulators to reassure people it's safe in light of increasing anti-vax sentiment over there. Or maybe it's competitors in that market using their political weight to fuck with AZ.
