No Ceiling is a remarkable song - it manages to feel like a three minute song even though it clocks in at a minute and a half. Great lyrics, sentiment, performance, and a killer final line that hits so much harder given the sudden unexpected full stop that provides such excellent punctuation to a deceptively simple statement. Probably the best original song on Into the Wild

Long Road is the better song, and while it doesn't move me nearly as much as it used to, I completely understand and respect why it means what it does to so many people. I find the effortless exploration in No Ceiling speaks to me a bit more these days, and it gets my vote, but Long Road will win, and it's a perfectly deserving winner.

Long Road is so great. It’s one of maybe 10 Pearl Jam song I have a hard time seeing it lose to anyone.

No Ceiling's great (and so true about it feeling much longer than 90 seconds), but this goes to Long Road without hesitation.

No Ceiling is a song I like, but I do think it's a bit of a missed opportunity. Those early, in and out songs on ITW, for the most part, are the length they need to be; something like Setting Forth would actually wear out its welcome if it was longer. But No Ceiling sounds undercut by the constraints Eddie was working with; it doesn't fit the box he was working in, and it keeps the song from being as good as it can be.

Still, it's hard to imagine even if it was better it could overcome Long Road. A truly incredible, beautiful song; that opener on Touring Band 2000 is still one of my favorite clips from the band.

My goodness that Phoenix 2000 performance or Long Road is killer. I mean, mountains would move if they were in the way of Eddie’s voice on that.

No Ceiling is one of my favorite Ed solo songs. But, this is like Glass Joe going up against Sandman.

Long Road is still a top 5 PJ song for me.
