Medication? She was driving at night with no lights and a kid in the car to avoid the people following her. That's "danger to yourself and others, put you away," level crazy.
Uh her son is 30.
She’s obviously deeply unwell. But that’s exactly why a movement like QAnon sucks so hard...for people whose mental health issues might involve these kinds of delusions, it serves as a broad, amplified external validation. And when members of Congress take part in that validation, or conservative figures with perceived journalistic credibility defend it, that can make those people unreachable.
My mom said she kept insisting she needed to look up a Tucker Carlson segment on YouTube where he says the media hates QAnon because they are freelance thinkers. I googled the QAnon segment in question, and the line is: “Freelance thinking is what they hate most; it’s a threat to their monopoly. They can’t say that out loud, so instead they call it ‘disinformation.’”
An entire community of lost souls badly needs for people with public platforms to not be helping them seal the bubble they’re living in.

Overall I loved it, it connected a lot of dots I was only vaguely aware of. And I was surprised how much I came to like Fred by the end. I just wish it were a bit more objective/distances from its subjects so it wasn’t as easy to play devil’s advocate around a couple key points.
