Fatal is easy for me, but I respect the MFC voters

Re: 98. MFC vs. Fatal
I don't love either of these songs, but there is a lot in MFC I like a lot. Great verses, good music. Let down by a garbage chorus.
Fatal is fine. It's a great example of the mid period atmospheric songs (Dead Man is another good example of this) that I find really inert and uninteresting. I can't remember the last time I listened to Fatal start to finsih

MFC, while I like it, is probably Yield's low point for me (which says a lot of good things about Yield). And Fatal is a fantastic song; it's a lyric that's simultaneously evocative and sparing and a vulnerable vocal from Eddie (in those last few lines, he sounds pretty broken).

MFC sounds great and I enjoy it. Fatal sounds great but I enjoy it less.

MFC for me is one of those sneaky great Pearl Jam songs. I am sad to see it will likely lose this early, but it’s maybe one of the best examples of Pearl Jam pulling off spritz before spritz became a thing for them.

Re: 98. MFC vs. Fatal
i absolutely love fatal. ev's voice is top notch, and i love how it opens up in the second part of the song. its a fairly simple song, but what ed and mike add to it put it over the top for me. MFC is great, but i went fatal

Fatal on Benaroya, hoo baby.
No disrespect to MFC, another outstanding song, especially when partnered with untitled.

yeah, Ed´s vocals on Fatal are so good. Super vulnerable and broken.
