Sleepless Nights was one of the Uke songs that never really did much for me. I love Last Solider. Maybe the last great song Mike wrote? It's too bad they never recorded a studio version but I don't know that they are improving on this

I haven't heard that version in years. Man, that's beautiful. I still voted for Last Sodier. But, good to hear that version again.

I love that Vedder/Beck Sleepless Nights as well, and I'm a big fan of the song, but Last Soldier is a great, forgotten song. I feel like PJ doesn't really have many songs like this, in comparison to some other bands - those songs that get played live a few times, and then get lost. It can make a catalog much richer, and it makes me think that the PJ vaults may be drier than we think when it comes to unreleased songs.
