What were all those dreams we shared
Those many years ago?
What were all those plans we made now
Left beside the road?
Behind us in the road
Luv ed

Better things is fine (one of the lesser classic rock covers for me). The End has long passed out of regular rotation, but it is a song that is still pretty powerful if it catches me off guard

I really like their cover of Better Things. Definitely one of the best things they did from that time period.

I really love Better Things; it's a song with some personal importance, and they perform it very well. I guess I'm leaning towards The End because the band doesn't really do much different with the cover, but it's still a fun listen.

I really appreciate every individual aspect of the end — the composition, the fingerpicking, the lyrics, the performance. And yet I’ve never connected with the song. Does absolutely nothing for me.

I forgot what The End sounded like. After listening, it's the clear winner. Sorry Better Things ... I DO wish we had more of you.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
