Ouch
Two songs that I would have called my favorite Pearl Jam song at some point. Neither is one I seek out anymore, but when I come to them after a long time away I am still amazed by their power.

either song could deserve to win the whole thing. I'll give it to Corduroy. I think it's the better song, and I enjoy it more live

Two all-time greats, but this is actually a pretty easy Corduroy vote for me.

Listen to the Solat on the 10 reissue. Sorry, Corduroy, I love you, but ...
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Re: 112. Corduroy vs. State of Love and Trust
Corduroy as track 1 on Lo2L was what kicked off my PJ uber-fandom. Not the first song I'd ever heard by them of course, but the song that made me totally sit up and take notice when I randomly bought the album on the strength of the cover back whenever it was.

Easily Corduroy. I don’t really care about SOLAT.

I mean obviously Corduroy, but ridiculous that SOLAT is out in round 1.

I'm gonna go SoLaT. It's not gonna beat Corduroy and I've made my peace with that.

Ugh...it's Corduroy since it's one of their best, unless I think about the newer live versions...

SOLAT is a Ten-era track I'm still really into (and one I feel hasn't aged as poorly as some others), but it's still Corduroy in a walk. It's not a top 10 song or anything for me, but it's still titanic songwriting.
