Did that become a thing for a short while or something and I just have never been aware of it?
Jesus, that is awful; I listen to Santa Barbara when I go with something from the second US leg of '06 usually.
Thats a Matt Cameron thing he tried to do between 2005-2011 (I think) for Elderly Woman... I remember something bout that in Brazilian concerts..

you can check it on the 00:24:55 mark:
jesus, that replaces Evacuation as the worst thing Matt has contributed to this band
I get to listen to music while I work - woohoo - yesterday it was Milwaukee 2 06, Grand Rapids 06 & Gorge 1 06.
Speaking of Evacuation - I like to sing the chorus while using other phrases like *sandwich station* etc. The tuned down version is just weird. "Breakerfall" from Wrigley 1 2018 threw me on first listen but that song doesn't sound terrible tuned down a little. It gives it a bluesy vibe.
I tried listening to some live Pearl Jam this week for the first time in a long while.
Started with a 2000 show but it didn't hit the spot.
Threw on Soldier Field and was instantly pleased.
Jack's drumming has this amazing way of leaving space in exactly the right spaces, while still driving things forward. I don't think they ever sounded better than they did in that (too) brief period with Jack on drums.
