yessir, delicious. my wife looks down her nose at catfish, but even she admitted it was delicious there.
i've never had their fried chicken, however. have you been to honey butter fried chicken? how does it compare?
i've had honey butter fried chicken and am definitely partial to big jones, specifically their breading and the quality of the chicken. but it's expensive and the portions are slight for the money. still, necessary to try. i originally went their for the gumbo, which is also great

i also just remembered i own the big jones cookbook! i've made their etoufee recipe at home - subbed shrimp for crawdads. should really do that again soon.

i made tijuana taco soup, but my wife is taking part in a presentation to hundreds of people in the office adjacent to the kitchen, so i'll just have to let it simmer away for a bit.
