Once again my two favorite songs in the round are up against each other. Love Reign is a fantastic cover with an amazing performance from Ed. But Elderly Woman is another song that deserves to win the whole thing. Criminally underrated on this board.

Small Town is a top 10 PJ song for me. But LROM came on Spotify today while I was cleaning and the wife and I both stopped to listen to it. It had been so long since either of us had heard it and we both forgot how truly fucking great it is.

I'm voting for Small Town but only because LROM is a cover and I try to vote originals over covers most of the time.

But both of these are outstanding.

Maaaaaaan. It's so good. I remember watching this live at a friends place with about 5 other people. I think i fell off the couch with how good this was. The Real Me as well.

I look forward to Ed's memoir someday where he admits that this performance was the final nail in the coffin for his voice. Well worth it!
