I think in Hiding is one of the best musically written guitar pieces. The way it builds off itself. Its so interesting, simple, unique, and glorious.

Easy vote for Habit's savagery over In Hiding's watered down grandeur

Habit's a cool tune, one that I've come (back) around on after souring on it for a while. But In Hiding soars.

Re: 139. Habit vs. In Hiding
The wily guitar line of In Hiding, the way it tumbles headfirst into the pre-chorus and the turn into the chorus make In Hiding a deceptively really good song musically (in a way, it's similar to Dissident, in that it's musical attributes get hidden by the fact that it's a Big Anthem). And Eddie on the chorus is great, sounding effortless over the music. It kind of highlights the problems for me with the songs when he tries to do this later, like Gone or Amongst the Waves; they sound so labored in comparison.
But Habit's a really good song, I really, really love the pre-chorus ("it's not your way"); Eddie screaming in this song, but he never sounded angry to me. He sounds like he's panicking, which fits the song. I'm going with In Hiding, but they're both solid choices.

Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! How could I miss March Madness?! Me...the Maestro of Madness!
And what are my favorite Scarlet Gnats up to this year? Voting I see? Remember to always use your Joker Voting Bullets. I mean ballots! Now with 10% extra grift.
Now it's off to my In Hiding-out to hold Commisioner Gordon's moustache for ransom before that flying rodent and his pugnacious pipsqueak can intervene.
Before I go it's a vote for Habit. How could it not be?
Remember kiddies, Make America Grin Again! And Stip spelled backwards is the pits. Ha ha ha ha ha hoo hoo hoo hee hee hee!!!!
