I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on Stip's Pearl Jam. But I still can't wrap my head around your In The Moonlight hate. It's the one take you have that I genuinely don't understand.

I tend to not go for the plodding mid tempo time signature songs (Matt is easily the writer I care for the least), I like vocal performances that have either a bit more flash or agile vocal melodies (in the moonlight is pretty restrained, almost moving into spoken word territory), and then there are the lyrics. This seems pretty on brand for me.
