Love em both, but Rival may be the best song on Binaural, and Whipping is bottom 3 on Vitalogy

Whipping, but it's never been the same without Abbruzzese.

Most days I prefer Whipping, but today I prefer Rival.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I don't understand the passion for Rival. One of the songs I listen to least on Binaural. Voting for Whipping.

I think I underappreciate Whipping to a certain degree. Whether I just overlook it or reach for other aggressive songs first, I don't know. But, even granting that, this is still a Rival vote for me.

Whipping. It was the first “new” song I heard off Vitalogy and was blown away from the start. Great under appreciated song.

Rival could be in PJ's top 10 for me; it's a bracing, ugly thing that remains compulsively interesting decades later. Whipping is good, but it just doesn't have that weight to it for me.

After initially disliking Rival, I’ve grown to become fond of it.

But it’s no Whipping.
