I enjoy Get Right so much more than Faithfull, a song I felt was pretty profound back in the day but hasn't stuck with me in the slightest - I think I probably have it at the bottom of Yield, Red Dot excluded. But I'll save my longer Faithfull post for when it is up against the winner of Tremor Christ/DTE

Great solo from Mike on Get Right. He was just so good throughout all of Riot Act. He's probably the MVP of that album

It's got handclaps! And it is one of the only Pearl Jam songs with terrible lyrics that I really like. I guess Got Some is the other.

What makes Get Right's lyrics terrible? I like them better than say, Force of Nature.

Faithful - it’s not my favorite Pearl Jam song though I do associate it with sort of the exact mean (aka average) of what a Pearl Jam song sounds like and it is really well constructed. It’s got its literary mythology, its killer bridge, a soaring chorus, mid-tempo - exactly the definition of a Pearl Jam song - but rather than being boring for that, it sort of revels in it and you can’t help but get into it.

Get Right is one of my favorites off Riot Act but it can’t compare here.

There's a lot of really good songs just having bad luck with what their competitors are. Faithfull's an easy choice, but there's a lot of great stuff in Get Right.

Get Right is fine. Mike elevates it a bit. If nothing else I'm siding with Faithfull because the lyrical gap between the songs is pretty wide for me.
