It’s not trying to be Parts Unknown. It’s just a pleasant show about Italy and its diverse food. Ban tragtragabigzanda wrote:Tried an episode the other night. It was fine? Tucci seems like a nice enough guy, but for me this lacks the soul, authenticity, and cultural insights of Parts Unknown. It’s, like, just a food show. Whatever.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Haven’t got this show here. But there are several good food related shows out there. Nice genre. Will try this out when it arrives here.

Tucci did get pretty political in the Sicily episode, focusing on all the immigration issues Italy faces.
