Lowlight vs. Wash

Two similar songs, actually. Good match up. I really like the music in lowlight, but I don't particularly care for the lyrics and I'm not a big fan of what they're doing with Eddie's voice in this song. He does that sometimes with Jeff songs, putting some exaggerated affectation fro some reason (he does it in Help Help as well). I prefer the lyrics and vocal performance in Wash, and it gets my vote.

Low Light's my pick, though I like Wash a lot. I wasn't a fan for a while, but I came around on it after hearing how they did it in the early 2000s. I almost feel like they wrote that song ten years too early and had to catch up to how they really wanted to play it.

Voted Wash. it’s a great song that I almost wish opened Ten. It’s got this feeling of anticipation bleeding through it that serves as a great warmup to listening to this band. I always thought it made one of the better opening songs on set lists.
