Indifference's shine has dulled a bit for me over the years, but I still like it quite a bit.

This could plausibly be a round 2 shutout

If there was seeding, it would be out by now.

Not a huge fan of Indifference anymore, but it still easily wins here. When Ed & Ben Harper performed this at MSG1 2003, it was an amazing moment. Still the best PJ show I've been to.

I was thinking for next year it might be fun to actually shuffle songs every single round.

How about seeding based on this year’s tournament?

the problem with seeding is that we will end up with the same final 16 songs, give or take 1-2, almost every time. When you can get Last Exit coming up against Tremor Christ in round 3, or Given to Fly getting knocked out in round 1, I think we get more interesting matches coming up, even if some songs make it out of round 1 (and there will be a few absurd participants in round 3 due to their dumb luck and terrible competition).

In many past years I would give past winners byes, which is similar to seeding. Feels predictable to me. But that's one person's opinion

I’m basically dead bored with Indifference, but I’d vote for it 100/100 in this match.

This is a good idea. More bizarre match ups would be good. And having luck play a decent part in getting through would be a real positive.

Corduroy vs Hail Hail round 1 match up. Why not?
