Re: 179. Push Me/Pull Me vs. Porch
Push Me Pull Me is fine. Porch is a top 5 song for me. The transition from the bridge into the final verse in outro is maybe a top 3 catalog moment for me. I've got the end of Alive ahead of it. I'm not sure what else. All of it is everything I want

Porch is another song that deserves to win the whole thing. It should have won ahead of Go. But Animal and RVM also should have won ahead of go

Re: 179. Push Me/Pull Me vs. Porch
PMPM has grown on me a lot over the years, yield is one of my two favorite albums along with Vitalogy. But I agree with Stip that Porch deserves victory in this contest as much as any song. Easily one of the best 2-3 concert staples.

Porch may be the least interesting song on Ten, and there are so many crescendos in the PJ canon that I prefer or have much more of an emotional response to. Push Me Pull Me is a song that is so uniquely PJ, and yet so unique within their own library. It’s the difference that elevates Yield above Vitalogy in some ways. Instead of “off the wall” tracks like Bugs, Pry,to, and Aya Davanita, Yield gave us Red Dot, and Push Me Pull Me. In that regard, PMPM is the star of the bunch. Anyway, I’m stoned.

Re: 179. Push Me/Pull Me vs. Porch
i think push me/pull me is great, both the studio version and the live version that is kinda sped up.
porch is, as we've said before, motherfuckin' porch. its a song that is almost 30 years old and still carries as much emotion energy as anything pearl jam has ever done. eddie vedder sing "yeah" over and over with the band playing a simple chord progression, this thing can somehow inspire you to run through a brick wall. its one of the best things they've ever done.
