Re: 200. Nothingman vs. Dance of the Clairvoyants
Nothingman is a great example of what Pearl Jam can do. But Dance is a great example of what Pearl Jam had never done, and as the best song they've put it out in literally 20 years (20 years that are full of songs I love) it is an easy vote. I'd love to see it win

Nothingman, but I’m psyched on the DOTC enthusiasm

Dance of the Clairvoyants for me. Nothingman is great, DotC is everything right now. It speaks to our time perfectly. Nothingman is a gem and fits perfectly in the construct of Vitalogy, but DotC man. (Not to mention the street cred the RMs would get if Leatherman was the last of the “man” trilogy in this tourney).

Re: 200. Nothingman vs. Dance of the Clairvoyants
I think I'm going with Nothingman, and this is coming from someone who thinks Dance is the clear standout of Gigaton and one of the first classic, bar none, songs in a while. But I feel like Nothingman is still a bit better, and I think if I was voting for Dance it'd be more because I was happy they were still able to write a song that good.

It's a mark for how great DotC is and how special it is after all these years that it's actually up for contending with Nothingman (in itself a top 25 track). And today it goes to Dance.

Re: 200. Nothingman vs. Dance of the Clairvoyants
Honestly I just don’t want to vote against DOTC. I legit think it’s one of the best songs this band has ever done.
Nothing man is also one of those songs and has held that admiration for 20 years. I feel like I should give the nod to nothing man due to the longevity
But goddamn we all may not be around in 20 years at this point to give DOTC its proper due so fuck it. DOTC gets my vote.
And for now I’m going to put in both songs and weep feeling gratitude that I love a band like this that has created these two songs.
